Tenth Year Brings Opportunity

The tenth year of Evangel Classical Christian School is underway, and we invite you to celebrate with us this year as we honor the Lord for his guidance, grace, and provision for our school over the past decade.  Fittingly, in this our tenth year, we will graduate our first senior class—the class of 2010, and we covet your prayers for them both this year and as they go out into the world equipped to be culture changers for Christ.

That equipping is inspired by our mission statement: “We aim to teach children to think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; to reason persuasively and articulate precisely; to evaluate their entire range of experience in the light of Scriptures; and to do so with eagerness and joyful submission to God.” In short, we desire that ECCS develops informed, articulate, dedicated leaders who will effect true and meaningful change to the culture, reclaiming the Christian heritage of our nation, rightly founded on a biblical worldview. As faculty and staff of ECCS, we see evidence of this leadership ability developing in our students on a daily basis.

Our vital mission, however, cannot be accomplished without adequate facilities and resources for our growing number of students. We have been blessed at ECCS with a fantastic campus in which to train and equip our future leaders. Last fall we completed construction on a new educational wing that houses 6 new classrooms for the Grammar, Logic, & Rhetoric schools as well as a Library for the entire school. Continuing to build on our mission will require another step of faith—our first Capital Campaign.

We are praying that God will raise at least $500,000 through this campaign in order to continue to fulfill our mission of developing leaders—culture changers—for Christ.

“Evangel Classical is different from other schools because it is able to instill a love for learning in the students .”
