“My children have no doubts that their teachers care about
their w ell-being, Not just for today, but so that they will be
equipped for the work God has for them in life and eternity .”
David & Kim Marvin, parents of Grammar, Logic, & Rhetoric students

In 2000, God planted a seed in the hearts and minds of a handful of families—a vision for what their children’s education could be. By His grace, that seed took root, their dreams became a reality, and that vision was realized. Evangel Classical Christian School began educating and nurturing 53 students that first year. And the vision grew.
In the spring of 2008, teachers, staff, and community leaders came together to celebrate as we broke ground for the new classroom and library addition. In October of 2008, God sent the harvest--the addition was complete, and another fruit of that seed, first planted in 2000, was realized. This building is a testament to God, the Great Gardener, who so faithfully watered, pruned, and cultivated a once tender sprout. Now in its place stands a firmly grounded tree.
Like a growing tree, we continue bear fruit. As we deepen our roots, we continue to develop leaders who are being equipped to transform our culture for Christ.
ECCS began as an idea in the late 1990s and has grown steadily since its inception. From a small group of parents who desired excellent Christian education founded upon a biblical worldview to a body of over 290 students, God’s hand has been evident. We are now a full K-12 school with our first gradutating class this school year.
As Evangel Classical Christian School has grown over the last 10 years,
our vision has remained the same.
“We aim to teach children to think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; to reason persuasively and articulate precisely; to evaluate their entire range of experience in the light of the Scriptures; and to do so with eagerness and joyful submission to God.”
Evangel Classical Christian School is steadfastly Christian and distinctively classical. Our commitment to excellence is demonstrated each day in the lives of the teachers, administrators, and support staff who devote themselves to the education of our growing student body.
By God’s grace, our school has grown since its inception in 2000 from 53 students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade to a full Kindergarten through 12th Grade school program with an excellent college-preparatory program. Additionally students have access to a competitive athletic program, as well as a growing fine arts program.
